The Huron-Kinloss Ice Cream Trail™ is a FUN-FILLED photo scavenger hunt for the whole family which takes participants to ice cream stops along the trail past beaches, unique shops, golf courses, parks, trails, a pool and a splash pad. Many adventures await you as you follow the Ice Cream Trail™ throughout Huron-Kinloss! Do it all in a one-day trip or spread your adventure out over the summer. Stop for lunch or a break at one of the restaurants in Point Clark, Ripley and Lucknow or pack a picnic and enjoy our beautiful beaches and parks. Top it all off with an ice cream for dessert and don’t forget your bathing suit!

This year, Sammy is celebrating the fall fairs in Lucknow and Ripley. There are four (4) new stops, which means more ice cream, and new adventures! There are also lots of surprises along the way. Sammy Sprinkles has some fun “Fall Fair” activities for you to do (hint: ever milked a cow?)!

The 2013 Ice Cream Trail™ will open on May 17th!

How to Play

The Ice Cream Trail™ is a contest that has players follow a map to our eleven (11) ice cream stops and read clues to find Sammy Sprinkles. Sammy may be right at the ice cream stop or you may have to travel a short distance to find him. Take a picture of you and Sammy at each location to submit with the completed entry form to the Township of Huron-Kinloss, P. O. Box 130, 21 Queen Street, Ripley, ON N0G 2R0 or e-mail to info@huronkinloss.com. You can also submit your pictures and entry form online. The contest runs May 17, 2013 to September 29, 2013 and entries must be received by October 15, 2013 to qualify for the grand prize.

Prizes!

If you collect all eleven (11) pictures you can enter to receive a free t-shirt (first 1000 participants) AND this is just for playing! Special prizes will be awarded for the funniest, most creative and largest group photos. All entries will be eligible for the grand prize of 250 Huron-Kinloss dollars to spend at local merchants.
